our Programs

Evidence based, easy to implement mindfulness strategies delivered in thought provoking informative, engaging, and joy filled programs.
Mindfulness and Breathwork An exploration into the neuroscience of mindfulness, how the acronym that's the basis for the SMILE Project ® can change the way you think, feel and act, and breath work strategies proven to calm the body and mind, and energise you when you need to get moving.
Mindful Movement Truly connecting the body and mind through the 12 step mindful movement practice popularised by Thich Nhat Hanh, the gentle guided movement of Yoga Nidra, or the flow of chair and office yoga.
Laughter Programs From the simplicity of Laughter Yoga to neuro and behavioural science adventures into the benefits of laughter and how and why we should have a little more. We can't help but be mindful while we're laughing, and who wouldn't enjoy spending at least a part of their day laughing?
Our founder, Bron Roberts, first trained as a meditation and mindfulness teacher in 1976 (back then it was known as conscious awareness). In the years since she's studied and practiced both Eastern and Western teachings, explored both spiritual and academic angles, and experienced everything from overwhelmingly dogmatic to what can only be described as 'eye-rollingly fluffy' practices. Bron's want for an evidence based, easy to implementment mindfulness practice that was firmly founded in the what, why and how of why practices that do, and sometimes don't work, inspired her academic journey into psychology, postive psychology, behavioural and neuro-science. Her want to be able to share what she'd learned in a way that really connects with others led to a certificate in humour as a therapeutic tool and edcuational and leadership strategy, and her passion for ways to create a happier and more sustainable lifestyle let to her trips (yes multiple) to Bhutan to study Gross National Happiness.
